Accor Hotels
Hospitality is a demanding, fast-paced environment, and Accor Hotels in Luxembourg wanted to invest proactively in the resilience of its employees and managers. We built an eight-week Resilience Skills program, sponsored by the Head of Human Resources, that ran across two cohorts of around 12 participants each.
Sustaining performance in a high-pressure industry
Employees and managers were balancing operational pressure and shifting workloads with the added strain of attracting and retaining talent in a tight Luxembourg labor market. Accor wanted practical, proactive support to help its people manage stress, build resilience, and sustain performance in a high-pressure service environment.
How we supported Accor Hotels
The program ran over eight weeks, with one live one-hour online session per week.
Small learning groups of around 12 participants worked through evidence-based resilience techniques grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with recorded sessions available on demand and a practical learning journal to encourage application between sessions. Two cohorts completed the program, reaching approximately 24 employees and managers in total.
Sessions were delivered in English.
How did we proceed?
The program combined practical exercises with weekly live sessions, helping participants regulate emotions, build optimism, and recharge their energy using techniques they could apply immediately in both their professional and personal lives.
Benefits for Accor Hotels
Participants left with a stronger understanding of how stress, thoughts, and behavior shape resilience, along with practical techniques for managing pressure and building supportive professional relationships. Consistently positive feedback reinforced Accor's broader commitment to employee wellbeing, engagement, and retention.
